Coaching

Smart HRD helps employees by shaping their development through personal and result-oriented coaching. The goal of coaching is to unearth and utilize the candidate’s true potential during a career step, for instance, or when optimizing their effectiveness in their current position.

Who’s it for?

Coaching is an outcome for all who wish to extend, finetune, replace, or let go of certain aspects of their behavioral range, or for anyone who wishes to become a better version of themselves and optimize their functionality.

Our approach

Our focus lies on competence oriented coaching. This means we concentrate on the daily situation of the candidate. The start of the program is often shaped by a so-called zero measurement: an assessment, 360-feedback, or a development-oriented conversation. The most important aspects in need of development are considered together with the employee and the employer. Specific agreements on the steps to be taken and the desired results will be made as well. An interim evaluation will take place with the employee and the employer during the program. A final evaluation will take place after the candidate has completed the program. There is a possibility to do so using 360-feedback, which focuses on the development of the candidate as perceived by costumers and colleagues.

Subjects

We offer management development and executive coaching to improve leadership: situational leadership, directing, developing proactivity, communication skills, dealing with change, initiating change, analyzing situations, and developing lesser leadership-styles.

We offer performance coaching and coaching directed to the development of talent and career for individual employees: communication (assertiveness, presentation, persuasiveness, sales-talks) and time-management.

This enumeration is inexhaustible. Our coaching is usually customized to specific needs, giving rise to a vast amount of topics/subjects that can be improved.

The coaching of teams is also a possibility.

Materials

We provide the candidate with multiple hand-outs (books, theoretical information, case-studies, special questionnaires, etc.) which will be used during our sessions. Coaching sometimes turns into individual training to, for example, improve communication skills. Case-studies combined with video-recordings will often be used in that case.

Practical information

The coaching-sessions will each time take approximately 1-1.5 hours. The number of sessions and the time in between depends on the client’s question. An interim evaluation will always take place with the candidate and the client after two sessions. A final evaluation will take place after the candidate has completed the program. Evaluations usually take place alongside the results of a 360-feedback and other input, which can include self-reflection and the results of predetermined goals.
